The President stated that this partnership was in fulfillment of the Government’s promise to scale up private enterprises and also support them to become globally competitive in order to attract international investors.

The factory is said to employ about 3,300 people directly and indirectly across some parts of the country, with an additional capacity of producing 35,000 bottles of soft drinks and juices as well as, 15,000 bottles of water per hour. This will create an avenue for exportation to neighboring countries such as Coté D’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.

In the President’s address, he disclosed:
“I am particularly pleased that a successful and innovative company like Kasapreko is finding new opportunities under the 1D1F policy and would like to assure them of Government’s unwavering support”.

“I commend the shareholders and management of Kasapreko for their diligence and commitment towards boosting the capacity of our nation towards self-reliance”, he added.
