Days after being banned from Instagram and suspended from Twitter, controversial American singer and fashion designer Kanye Omari West, often known as Kanye West or Ye, is planning to purchase Parler, a well-known social network in the United States.
The corporation revealed that its agreement with the rapper is anticipated to be finished later this year in a statement it released on Monday to announce the acquisition.
Opinions are viewed as contentious, according to Parler CEO George Farmer, who also warned that the merger might alter how people view free expression globally.
Ye’s account was suspended for breaking the terms and conditions of the social media platform with an ostensibly “anti-semitic” post.
The controversial rapper was later barred from Twitter after he vowed war on the Jewish people during his contentious Paris Fashion Week show, where he displayed his White Lives Matter shirts. The musician has previously accused Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg of booting him off Instagram.
