The “Putuu” and “Everlasting” hit maker, Stonebwoy, is being celebrated worldwide among the lovers of Reggae and dance hall music for being among the top 5 of the 9th Annual Reggaeville Poll.
Out of 160 different releases, 56 albums made it to the public voting having Stonebwoy’s “Anloga Junction” as the best album for the year 2020. His album competed with the likes of Protoje’s “In Search Of Lost Time”, Buju Banton’s “Upside”, Lila Ike’s “The ExPerience EP” and Bob Marley’s “Live At The Rainbow”.
The one time BET award winner released “Anloga Junction” in April 2020 featuring Keri Hilton, an American famous musician, whose association with him also won Stonebwoy more fame and attention.
This award has indeed surprised many people who thought great figures like Bob Marley and Buju Banton were unbeatable. The world is proud of Stonebwoy’s work and its ability to compete among the world’s best of Reggae music. Messages of “congratulations” have flooded social media with some proclaiming how proud they are to be Ghanaians.
Stonebwoy is known as Livingston Etse Satekla in private life. He’s married to Dr Louisa and the couple are blessed with two beautiful children.
