The executive branch organizer of the national democratic congress in the Pusiga district of the Upper East Region has murdered by some unknown gunmen.
It is alleged that the deceased was shot in the leg and the stomach by gunmen who demanded GHs 70,000.00 .
Khalifa handed over GHS 500 but was still gunned down twice till he bled to death.
At the moment, one person associated with the incident has been arrested but the rest are wanted by the police.
The deceased, Khalifa who might be in his 30’s operates a drinking spot at Widana which according to sources agreed to purchase a property worth GHS70, 000 but the owner demanded he changes the currency into CFA francs.
He was in the process of changing the currency until he was murdered.
