Ghanaian gospel musician and songwriter, Celestine Donkor, who won the Best Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2020 VGMAs narrated how robbers broke into their home this dawn.
She narratives that, the robbers attacked her home between the hours of 12 and 2am today. They locked herself and her husband in their bedroom and went to the kids room. One of her daughters tried to shout but suddenly felt drowsy and knocked out.
He daughter also narrated upon seeing a man dressed in all black with a flashlight in his mouth.
Celestine and her husband managed to break their door to free themselves. And were grateful that none of their kids were hurt.
“They took all our phones, 3 phones: My Samsung S9+, my machine is gone, iPhones, 2 laptops, a tablet and made away with all cash we got at home, we found the bags and stuffs they searched outside. We’re cashless and phoneless at the moment” She said.
She added that, the robbers seemed to have entered through their balcony, which was unbelievable, how they managed to enter their bedroom, picked their phones and locked them up.
She concluded by saying, if anyone comes across any device with her pictures, they should kindly report. All her wallpapers are pictures of herself and her husband.
She later seeked the advice of the general public on how to track their devices.
