The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has released a notice with the interest of embarking on a strike from January 20th.
The Association in accordance said the strike is based on poor working conditions of service. The members of the Association of CLOGSAG said conditions of service have been ignored for several years now.
According to the leaders of CLOGSAG, members of the association have mounted an overdue pressure on them to go on strike. This pressure now, cannot be ignored.
They notified “It is important to note that the institutions whose members are restrained from participating in partisan politics have distinct and enhanced salary structures and other conditions of service. This our request is fair and genuine,”
