The Sawer Apostolic child development center is an NGO that is currently taking care of 290 children as beneficiaries and exist as an advocate center to release children from poverty by ministering to their physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs and enable them fulfill Christian adults.
In response to the great commission as the mission statement of compassion international Ghana.
In collaboration with the Yilo krobo municipal assembly, has built a six unit classroom block to contain nursery, Kindergarten and Junior high school pupils.
In addition, a ten seater toilet facility has been built to help the pupils have a comfortable place of easing themselves.
The chief of Bonya, MCE of Yilo krobo municipality, Partnership facilitator for the compassion international Ghana somanya cluster, Former director of the Sawer Apostolic child development center and current partnership facilitator for Afram plains, the Headteacher and staff of the Sawer M/A primary school, DOVSU and pastor were present for the commissioning of the project.
It commences with cadet salutation to various dignitaries who arrived at the occasion and opening prayer by Dr. Emmanuel Yormekpe.
After which the compassion international Ghana anthem was sung by the beneficiariee of the Sawer Apostolic child development center.
The master of ceremony introduced the dignitaries present and Eld. Thomas Debrah, the compassion partnership committee chairman gave the purpose of gathering.
There was a cadet parade by the Agormanya methodist child development center airforce cadet and inspection of parade by the Head pastor and partnership facilitator after which the head pastor gave an exhortation.
The partnership facilitator gave his speech for the occasion, followed by the director of sawer apostolic child development center, GED Director, the Bonya chief and MCE.
The MCE, Bonya chief, partnership facilitator and director of sawer apostolic child development center together cut the ribbon to commission the project.
A presentation of citation was done to honor some key people who played major roles in aid of raising such a project. Vote of thanks was given and the occasion was brought to a close.
