Asamoah Gyan a.k.a Baby Jet, is one of Ghanaian’s talented football strikers. He’s mostly remembered for the penalty he missed in 2016, which would have changed the fate of the Black Stars for the better.
In a recent audio released on social media, it is alleged that the Gyan brothers have physically assaulted Godwin Martey, CEO of Websoft Solutions.
A narrative made by Godwin suggests he was only expressing concerns for a fair game in his competition with Asamoah Gyan. He (Godwin) thought Baffour Gyan as the umpire was being unfair to him because most of the points were won in Asamoah’s favour.
His concern might have gotten Baffour Gyan upset, who in turn retaliated with verbal and physical abuse. Godwin mentioned that Asamoah Gyan also assisted his brother in the brutality.
The tennis game which took place at the 37 Army Officers Mess has got many Ghanaians wondering whether Asamoah Gyan has retired from football in order to join the tennis team.
The Gyan brothers are yet to state their side of the story to confirm or rebut Godwin Martey’s claim.
Until then, many Ghanaians are quite unhappy about the incidence because Asamoah Gyan is a personality of high repute and this was unexpected of
