Evans Kyekyeku Oppong, the businessman arrested for attempting to use his daughter in a money ritual, has been remanded into police custody by the District Court in Accra (Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit).
Oppong, a 47-year-old machine operator, was arrested on June 3 after the spiritualist he visited exposed his plan to murder his 11-year-old daughter.
After the prosecution prayed for his remand, the Court presided over by Her Worship Ama Adomako Kwakye remanded him.
According to EIB Court Correspondent Murtala Inusah, the accused is charged with Preparation to Commit Crime, namely Murder, and his plea has been reserved
