That a casual guy (‘Dr.’ Kwame Fordjour) could actually make-believe a “UN Kofi Annan Excellence Awards” and scam the elite, the professional, the technocrat, the academics and celebrities, leaves much to be desired. Among the “victims” of this grande scheme are Sarkodie, Berla Mundi, Prof Ebenezer Oduro — VC of UG, Hon Alban Bagbin, other media personnel, religious heads.
Ghanaians make a good laugh of this fiasco award episode that knocks out minds off COVID-19 for a moment.
While we still search for answers on why the sudden surge in appetite for social recognitions, we ask, “will the UN respond to the ‘UN’ awards?”
