The Minister of Information, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has received State Of The Art equipment on behalf of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).
The Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), in agreement with the Government of Ghana, made these supplies to the GBC at the Commissioning and Handing Over ceremony.
These types of equipment are expected to produce high-quality videos to boost production of the nation’s number one media house.
Tsutomu Himeno, the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, was elated about this partnership that is aimed at projecting the affairs of Ghana across the shores of the world.
The Director-General, Prof Amin Alhassan, Chairman of the National Media Commission, Mr Yaw Boadu and Chief Representative of JICA-Ghana, Mr Araki Yasumichi were some of the dignitaries who graced the event when cameras, editing and post-production units were received from Japan.
