Ghana Armed Forces Warns Public Against Fraudulent Recruitment

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) had warned the public against fraudulent recruitment being advertised on social media platforms.

Per the GAF, such advertisement are done by unscrupulous persons who use the names and pictures of senior officers to defend the public .

A statement signed by GAF’s Director of Public Relations, Colonel E. Aggrey said, “ The Ghana Armed Forces wishes to once again caution the general public to refrain from giving patronage to fake advertisements and other falsified documents including social media posts purporting that the GAF has begun 2020/2021 recruitment and enlisting exercises.”

The statement further advised the public to desist from paying monies through mobile money to these fraudsters.

In addition, GAF has collaborated with other security services to arrest person involved in such fraudulent acts.
