Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, the head Pastor and founder of the Alabaster International Ministry (Alabaster House Chapel) in a sermon to his congregation questioned the need for a zipline drone when there are some essential needs that have to be met.
He expressed a deep feeling of the misallocation of state resources.
“When I look at the Vice President’s initiative of Zipline drones, I cry for Ghana.”
He added that, in Rwanda where the Vice President visited, he failed to take notice of one key thing. Which was, aside from their drones for medical supplies, they do have quality health services and structures.
“When they went to Rwanda where drones are used to disseminate medical supplies, didn’t they see proper medical supplies and proper health facilities?” He said.
He added that Ghana isn’t that poor to fail in the improvement of our health sector. How much does a modern hospital bed cost, that they can’t be bought for hospitals to be used by patients?
“Go to Korle-Bu! Look at the kind of bed patients lay on. Are we that poor to the extent that we can’t afford a modern bed?” He quizzed
