Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta region.
He took to his handle to make known the plans they have in providing Battor Catholic Hospital’s Children’s ward with a pediatrician.
He said:
“I have formally communicated to authorities at the Battor Catholic Hospital that following the vacuum created by transfer and promotion of our most loved and departed pediatrician; the North Tongu MP’s office is supporting their efforts to attract a new pediatrician for the Children’s Ward of the hospital with a rent-free fully furnished accommodation and other incentives including additional hospital equipment to enhance working conditions.
This package is similar to what I did some three years ago to attract and retain the first and only doctor still serving at the Tagadzi-Juapong corridor of my beloved constituency.
Our heroic health workers deserve a little more attention particularly from those of us in rural Ghana so they can consider favourably the places they are needed most as leadership partners with them to save precious lives.
God bless our wonderful children who represent a greater future for North Tongu and Ghana.“
