A statement issued by the Ministry of Railway Development suggests that His Excellency  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo will be cutting a sod to commence the construction of railway lines in Kumasi, precisely Kaase.

The ceremony is scheduled to take off on Wednesday, September 30, at 9am. This project is one of many others undertaken across various parts of the country by the Akufo Addo’s administration.

For over a century now, Kumasi is yet to experience a new phase of its railway lines with the construction of a standard gauge railways lines. The aim is to boost the country’s transport system and for easy transmission of goods and services.

These standard gauge railways will be developed from Sekondi – Takoradi to Kumasi.
