GRA Has Called On Apostle General’s Daughter For A Discussion Of Tax With Regards To The $1,000,000 Gift

The Ghana Revenue Authority has issued out a letter to the daughter of the Apostle General Sam Korankye-Ankrah, Naa Dromo who got wedded last week.

The letter issued her has to do with obtaining pieces of information from her with regards to the one million dollars gift given her by her friends during her wedding reception.

The note issued her read:
The Ghana Revenue Authority has embarked on a compliance program to assist individuals to be compliant with their tax obligations.

This is to notify you that you have been selected to benefit from the special compliance assistance program of the Ghana Revenue Authority to help you make accurate disclosure of your income to the Commissioner-General of GRA and avoid the imposition of penalties interest and other sanctions.

The information available to the GRA indicates that you have received an amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) as a gift from friends.

Further checks have established that you own a business registered as an enterprise under the name NDKA star. Our records also show that you have never filed your personal income tax returns to the GRA and that you have two taxpayer-identification numbers (TIN) as follows P0010667200 and P0022407596.

The GRA concluded by showing her the tax calculation on the gift she received, adding the location of which she’s to appear.
