Kanhaiya Lal, a man from India, was murdered for blasphemy.
Lal, a tailor, was hacked to death inside his shop in Udaipur, Rajasthan, a city in western India.
The video was posted online by the perpetrators, who claimed it was in retaliation for his “support” for a remark about Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Lal, the owner of Supreme Tailors in Udaipur’s Hathipole, is seen measuring one of them.
The man cut the tailor on his neck with a cleaver within a few minutes.
“How come?” What happened, batao toh sahi? Tell me)”, he inquires of the victim.
The muggers were identified as Mohammad Riyaz and Ghouse Mohammad in another video.
They boasted about the assassination and threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Riyaz and Mohammad, both Udaipur residents, were apprehended in Bhim, Rajsamand district.
The killing sparked outrage, which authorities are attempting to contain.
In Rajasthan, curfews have been imposed for one month, and internet services have been suspended.

Deborah Samuel, a student at Sokoto’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, was stoned to death and burned on May 12 for “blasphemy.”
