Korankye-Ankrah, a pastor of Royalhouse Chapel International, revealed during his opening sermon a piece of advice he received from his mother-in-law.aapa
Pastor Paapa, who happens to be the biological son of the Apostle General Sam Korankye-Ankrah, indicated that his mother-in-law advised him not to use the pulpit to talk about politics or how the Government is managing the economy.
According to Pastor Paapa, he said “My mother-in-law has given me a strong warning that when I’m preaching, I shouldn’t talk about politics. I should leave politics out of my sermons.”
He added that looking at the way things are going on in the country, it will be unfair on his part not to address the current economic situation.
“I have been very good and obedient to that instruction, but sometimes, I think it is even irresponsible when you have such a platform and many people listening to you and are connected to decisions and things that they do, and they are affected by them.
If you come to church today, and all that I’m saying is salvation, heaven and hell, you’ll leave here thinking Pastor Paapa is not intuned, because what is going on is directly affecting us.
He also made mentioned that, after listening to the address from Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on Friday, he concluded that anyone who places his/her hope in man will be heavily disappointed.
“I was listening to the Minister of Finance this week, and I just concluded, “we have only God.” If you are here and you’re putting your faith in a man, you will be heavily disappointed.”
During his sermon, he made these statements in his sermon titled ‘I Have No Man’ where he outlined three things that must be aligned for a miracle to take place.
1. The season
2. The supernatural
3. The surprise elements
