During the lockdown as a result of the COVID-19, the President of Ghana announced a partial payment of electricity and free water for all, which eventually got extended to the month of December.
This has raised many controversies. As some are commending him, others are condemning him and criticising the effectiveness of this exercise.
The Apostle General has added his voice. He said,
“Why should I be envious about this when I’m in opposition. It’s a good thing. We need to commend him for that. Thank you Mr President. I’m thanking you on behalf of Royalhouse Chapel and the less privilege.”
He added that, we live in a country where when you’re in opposition (to all political parties) nothing good the people in government does please you. They will criticise and insult everything. They refuse to see every good thing done.
“What kind of spirit is this? It is a satanic spirit of envy and jealousy. You don’t need to be envious because one day God will bring you from opposition. When it happens, also find a good thing and do for the people. If someone has paid for electricity and water, you too find something good to do. There must be no fight about this.”
