Four lotto fraudsters from the Volta region, precisely Akatsi and Ho, have been arrested by the Volta Regional Police.
Reports gathered suggest that Kingsley Adelekey (21years), Reuben Abusah (20years), Godwin Agbenyefia (19years), and Kelvin Kwame (20years) have created numerous social media platforms and misleading the public with acclaimed forms from the NLA.

Their victims are said to have sent them huge sums of money whenever the NLA released winners for the lottery. The names of the winners were altered to make these victims believe they have won.
When this news caught the attention of the National Lottery Authority, they collaborated with the Volta Regional Police to arrest the culprits. As it stands now, the Ho Circuit court, presided over by His Honor, Felix Datsomor has commanded the suspects to appear in court on September 23, 2020.
A Board Member of the Anlo Afiadenyigba SHS Board of Governors, Hon Gilbert Keklie, made a public statement when he said: “It is very sad that these lotto fraudsters are able to convince people who want to be rich overnight to make mobile money transfers to them in exchange for fake winning lotto numbers”…
“”The National Lottery Authority (NLA) would like to state categorically that, NLA has not designed any registration forms for the public to register for winning lotto numbers”, he added.
I’m sure this would serve as a deterrent to others in the business.
