Mahama Suspends Campaign

There has been a press statement from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which has to do with their flag bearer, John Mahama suspending his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, following the death of JJ Rawlings, the founder of the NDC.

The statement read:
The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, has suspended his six-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region with immediate effect, following news of the passing of former President Jerry John Rawlings.

Mr Rawlings was an iconic figure and founder of the NDC.
