One of the Afro Nation concert attendees in Ghana over the holidays was the American rapper Meek Mill.
Some highlights of his time in Accra included a rough power bike session, claims that his phone was stolen at an event, dodging hoodlums before going on stage to perform, and meeting with the president at Jubilee House.
Meek Mill has returned to the US, but his name is still prevalent in Ghana.
The rapper announced that he would be releasing a new song in a late-night Instagram post on January 8, 2023.
It turns out that parts of the aforementioned video were recorded during his visit in and around the Jubilee House.
Meek Mill has been seen at the presidency in a variety of locations, including the frontage, the main corridors, the main conference hall (at one point sitting behind the president’s podium), and later in a sitting area rapping.
Some social media users are outraged about what they see as the presidency being almost desecrated, citing ethical and security concerns.
Major Twitter influencers in particular have drawn criticism from the public for allowing such sensitive areas to be filmed for a music video.
However, it should be noted that some of the commenters are justifying it by saying that it is not a big deal.
