Ps Nana Yaw Boakye, known by his stage name MOG was nominated for four awards for the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA).

Upon his first appearance in the VGMA, he has bagged his first nomination award, which is the Male Vocalist of the Year. The category had Joe Mettle, Kuami Eugene, Kisi and King Promise. He’s currently anticipating to take the three other category awards.

On the other hand, Celestine Donkor also took away the award for the Female Vocalist of the Year. Her category was a strong one which had Adina, Lamis, Efya, Efe Grace and Becca and still made her way through.

7. Best Group of the Year – DopeNation
8. Producer of the Year – MOG Beats
9. International Collaboration of the Year – Lucky by Sarkodie ft Rudebwoy
10. African Artiste of the Year – BurnaBoy
11. Lifetime Achievement Award – George Darko
