Nurses And Teachers Being Used As Control Experiment By Politicians

Politicians, most especially the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), assume health workers (Nurses) are gullible.

Every four years, these political parties are seen making unfulfilled promises, yet that doesn’t stop health workers from endorsing them.

During elections, health workers try to convince every Tom, Dick, and Harry to win votes for these parties but they (flag bearers) disappear shortly after they have been sworn into office.

As a result, nurses are seen parading themselves in the streets with placards in the name of the demonstration because they have been disappointed and must go back to work under poor conditions.

It’s sad to note that our nurses have not been deterred from this constant deception from political parties as they keep endorsing them from one term to another.

As if that is not enough, our health workers have become politically biased. It has become a norm for them to take bribes before patients are attended to. The average Ghanaian will lose their lives if they have no extra money to pay for health care. Our health institutions need serious education.

So the question is?
Should our health workers be politically acclaimed?
I’m sorry to add that our health workers have lost their morals.

The least said about the teachers, the better. How can they endorse a political party on their social media handles just because they were fed with a “hot meal”?

“Common sense” does not exist among some sectors in Ghana anymore.
My advice to all is that, don’t allow yourself to be used as a control experiment by these greedy politicians.

Mother Ghana deserves better.
