Donald Trump is the 45th and current president of the United States.
Trump reviewed early today that he and the first lady had tested positive for the COVID-19.
In a tweet, he wrote, “Tonight @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this together!”
The virus in the past months has killed over 207,000 in the United States. Hours after Trump made a statement that “the end of the pandemic is in sight”, his result came in where he had tested positive.
He will be quarantined in the White House for an unspecified period of time. This has forced him to withdraw from the campaign trail, only 32 days left for their elections which come off on November 3rd.
A few minutes ago, the First lady, Mrs. Trump twitted that the first couple was “feeling good.” As to whether they are experiencing symptoms, it hasn’t been disclosed.
