The President of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed that the academic year for fresh and continuing University students will commence in January 2021.
The statement by the President was made at the 18th Address to the Nation on the “Measures Taken Against Spread of Coronavirus”.
He said, “SHS 2 and JHS 2 students are back in school, as are some students in tertiary institutions and colleges. Indeed, the academic year for new and continuing University students will commence from January 2021.”
This comes after schools were closed in March due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
