Sammy Gyamfi, the National Democratic Party communications Officer has come out with questions in respect to the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to him ” South Africa has recorded far more covid cases and deaths. Their President had said nobody in South Africa will be forced to take the vaccine, ‘is be a mad man. Is Cyril Ramaphosa fully vaccinated recently, tested positive for covid ‘a mad man'”?
He continued “Brazil has said they will not. The impression that all countries are moving towards force vaccination is not holding through. Some are rejecting it vehemently.
South Africa is an example, Brazil is an example”.
He stressed “I’m saying that in America, emergency use authorizations are provided by law. But in Ghana, no law gives the FDA the right to do emergency use authorization. You must register and approve, so the emergency use authorization they are doing is illegal. And they themselves their document says it shouldn’t be by force. And you are saying we should disregard what the FDA is saying and make it by force”.
He murmured ” In any case, if the vaccine is effective and safe, why has our government signed an indemnity agreement with Pfizer, Moderna, and the manufacturers of these vaccines that when we take the vaccine and something happens to us, we can’t hold them liable including willful misconduct. They are indemnified against that”
