Shortage Of Goil Gasoline Due To Supply Disruptions

A press release by GOIL Company Limited, a leading supplier of fuel in Ghana has ascribed its recent fuel shortage to a major supply interference. GOIL released a press on the scarcity of its super XP RON at some stations.

It clearly stated that ‘The shortages which were experienced during the Easter holidays were because of operational challenges occasioned by supply disruptions.’

Checks by Vesta Multimedia Limited from some GOIL stations within Madina as of 10th April 2023 indicate the various GOIL stations were experiencing gasoline shortages specifically petrol. GOIL further rendered an apology to its cherished customers for the inconveniences caused and stated that requisite steps had been taken to ensure that over two million litres of fuel have been dispatched to the various stations.

GOIL added that it intends to release more stocks to the affected stations in the next two days to enhance supplies. Vesta Multimedia Limited has confirmed from a few GOIL stations as of 11 am on 13th April 2023 that adequate supplies have been made available to provide fuel for customers
