Mr. Kenneth Agbormadze has been interdicted by the Ghana Education Service (GES) following an alleged collection of fees.
“Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted Mr. Kenneth Agbormadze. Headmaster of Fijai Senior High School with immediate effect, pending further investigation into an alleged collection of illegal fees in the school.”
“Mr. Agbomadze is to hand over the administration of the school to the Western Regional District of Education.
The investigation committee has been given two weeks to submit its report to Management.”
This action from the GES netizens has been seen as problematic. Commenting on GES’ handle some stated:
“The intimidation in GES is at the Apex never seen before” Thomas Quabena
“Funny enough! You guys are always majoring the minor. Always intimidating your staff. This culture of silencing your staff must stop. There are a lot of challenges to address in our various schools.” One Kwame
“If the system is run efficiently and effectively, I dont think any headmaster will collect your so called illegal fees. You know the issues but pretend not to know and blame the poor head teachers who have worked tirelessly to get some of us to where we are now. They don’t deserve this.
When teachers say there is a culture of silence you will say no meanwhile you keep blaming them for your own inefficiencies.
Teachers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. They have more than earned it.” Jonathan A. Syme
