Nigel Gaisie is the leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Worldwide with its head office in Accra.
In a video made by him on Facebook Live, he shared with his followers the kind of exploitation taking place at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), which has to do with the COVID-19 testing.
He traveled with a three-member team to Sierra Leone. Before leaving Ghana, they were asked to do a COVID-19 test. Upon arrival in Sierra Leone, they were made to do another testing. After spending about six days and were returning to Ghana, a new COVID-19 test was required of them. And when they arrived in Ghana, they were asked to do another test.
“There is so much exploitation going on at the KIA. The least opportunity, Ghanaians want to exploit.” He said.
So apparently a test cost $150.00, and a total of $450.00 for the three-member team. And they were made to go through the testing four times.
He added that those even taking the monies for those testings are not Ghanaians, and calls on the Ghana Health Service and the government to urgently attend to this situation of exploitation.
“Those taking the monies are not even Ghanaians. COVID-19 testing is too much exploitation.”
