The Nigerian Minister of Water Resources, Engineer Suleiman H. Adamu, has honored one of Nigerian’s best actresses and filmmakers, Stephanie Linus, with an ambassadorial title.
Dr. Nicholas Igwe, a National Coordinator of OPS-WASH, was also present to witness the occasion.
Stephanie who has been cast in many movies locally and internationally was admonished to impact a positive change in Nigerian citizens to keep a safe and clean environment.
In her acceptance of the role, she stated that as a public figure, she will positively influence every Nigerian to make cleanliness a part of their lives.
Her Instagram handle reads:

I have been appointed as National OPS-WASH Ambassador by the Honourable Minister of Water Resources””.
“…As the OPS-WASH Ambassador, Mrs. Linus promised that she will use her role to challenge Nigerians to make good hygiene a culture, as well as inspire citizen participation and responsibility. This appointment comes as a public sector recognition of the Hygiene First campaign which she launched in May 2020″, it added.
