It’s just like breast cancer which affects both genders but common in women, men also get cancer in their testicles. so every April is set aside for education and free examination.
The best way to examine the testicles is after a warm shower to detect swollen lumps, pain, redness, tenderness, and discharges from the penis while examining it.
Procedures to self-examination of the testicles include
1. Cup one testicle at a time using both hands.
2. Examine by rolling the testicles between thumbs and fingers, use slight pressure.
3. Familiarize yourself with the spermatic cord and epididymis.
4. Feel for lumps, changes in size, or irregularities.
If you feel any discomfort or notice any irregularities kindly report to the nearest health center for attention, directions, and treatment.
