When it comes to the saying, “the police is our friend“, most Ghanaians do not relate to it. They tend to have stories contrary to this saying.
A young man by the name of Nana Tea took to his social media handle to share the warm reception he received from a police officer at the Tsopoli Toll Booth.
He narrated:
“This Police officer changed my perception about Police officers yesterday at Tsopoli Tollbooth. After stopping us, he asked us where we were heading and a few other questions.
There was this little babysitting on her mom’s lap. He quickly reached out to his pocket and dished out a GHC50 note and handed it over to the little girl, and wished us a safe trip. We were all shocked.
Others testified that, he has always been good to people.”
He added that there were good police officers out there.”
He hilariously concluded by saying, “Now my issue is, I have been eyeing the money for a long. I want her mom to share it with us all. So I can also testify that I chop police money.”
