The President Of The Football Federation, Mwendwa Steps Aside After Fraud Charges

The president of the football federation, Mwendwa steps aside after fraud charges:

Nick Mwendwa who is feeling personally targeted, has denied subsequent charges.

According to him ” In light of the frequent arrest and detentions which have adversely affected my family and personal business and whilst I am confident I will be cleared of any wrongdoing, in the end, I have asked my vice president Madam Doris Petra to assume all functions of the football keyan Federation (FKF) president.

My decision has been arrived at with the federation’s best interest at heart”
Mwendwa as a matter of fact pleaded not guilty to four fraud counts in Nairobi, after on Friday being re-arrested by the police.

Currently, Nick Mwendwa is out on a cash bail of 10m keyan shillings awaiting his trial.
In the bailing terms, Mwendwa has been asked to deposit his passport with the court and has also received a forbidden notice of not accessing FKF offices.
