Three students of Ejisu Senior High Technical School have been stabbed in three separate incidents between Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th January 2021.
On Monday, a second-year student at age 18 was allegedly stabbed in the back with a pair of scissors by four of his colleagues who attempted to rob him of his mobile phone.
One of them admitted to the crime, hence in police custody.
On Tuesday, in the other two cases, one student was attacked by nonstudents in an altercation over girls.
While on Tuesday evening another student sustained stab wounds in a rival student in fighting on campus
Currently, victims are receiving treatment at the Ejisu Government hospital
Samuel Oduro Frimpong who heads the Council said “I’ve told the Assembly officers and the headmistress that tomorrow when we come there we shall all go there and look at how best we can do the fencing to ensure that we get a win-win situation.”
“Three people have been arrested in connection with all the cases as investigations continue”, according to the Ejisu district police commander, Supt Fred Lumor.
