However, as part of the campaign to stand against breast cancer, Young Philanthropists is committed to joining this campaign action.”
Speaking of the disease, she mentioned that though most women are not comfortable with having their breasts screened, early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone to breast cancer control. This is why they seek to sensitise everyone on the need to have their breasts checked.
“Most women are very indifferent when it comes to the checking of their breast or getting it tested. Moreover there is lack of sufficient knowledge or education in the causes of breast cancer, therefore early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control.
Young Philanthropists, therefore wishes to sensitise women across the country and beyond.” She said.
