ogbe Atsugah Sogah II, divisional Chief of the Fievie Traditional Area has issued a strong warning to all the youth of Sogakope. This comes about after one Mr Louis Amenya and two other young men lost their lives in a motto accident.
The full statement reads:
Following the recent tragedies of the motto accident which claimed the life of a young man by the name Mr Louis Amenya prematurely and the other two young men which is very devastating.
Togbe Atsugah Sogah II, divisional chief of Sogakope, Fievie Traditional Area would like to sound these warnings to the youth of Sogakope and the nearby towns and villages that the youths are dearest to him therefore they should desist from immoral behaviours that might have posted danger to their lives and also abide by the rules and regulations governing the Noble community.
• No motto rider should ride without a helmet.
• No rider should take off the exhaust pipe of their motto before riding it to make the loudest noise in the community especially when there is a funeral of a young one in the community or when there is a funeral of youth and they want to show their last respect, they should do it with care and much concern so that there will be no occurrence.
• The youth should desist from careless driving and riding in the community because all these attract penalties and fines when caught by the community task force.
