The office of the Registrar, University of Ghana has written again addressing the ban on holding events and gatherings on campus.
“We remind students that the ban on all student events and gatherings, as announced by the Dean of Students Affairs in August 2022, is still in place. No events are to be held without the express approval of the Dean of Student Affairs.” The letter stated.
The letter added that no outside bodies are permitted to hold functions on the University’s campuses without the written approval of the Vice-Chancellor or the Registrar of the representatives until further notice.
The letter concluded by stating emphatically that, the directives will be strictly enforced, and any infractions will be met with appropriate sanctions.
This communique from the Registrar hasn’t sunk well with the vandals of Commonwealth hall, of which a lot say they’ll show up regardless.
