Former vice president of the Democrats, Joe Biden is leading race with 253 points in the ongoing presidential elections in the United States.
As at the time of writing, 44 out of 50 states have been counted but the counting continues in only a few key states which will determine the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election
However, Republican candidate, Donald Trump has alleged fraudulent act in the counting without providing evidence to support his claim.
Currently, Joe Biden has a record of about 71.5 million votes and has said he will win enough states to become president.
Although, Biden is leading at the moment, key results remain outstanding.
So far, Donald Trump is projected to win 23 states, including Texas, Ohio and Florida, having outperformed the predictions made.
The overall turnout of this elections is one of the highest in 120 years at 66.9%, which may delay the final result.
Georgia’s top election official has estimated that about 50,000 ballots are yet to be counted.
