Who Is The Presiding Officer Of The EC?

The Electoral Commission (EC) on its quest to maintaining transparency and fairness in the upcoming December polls is making known all its Officers and what they will be doing. One of whom is the Presiding Officer.

Among the electoral officials that the Electoral Commission (EC) has hired and trained is the Presiding Officer who is responsible for:

1. Keeping order at the polling station and ensuring its proper set up and friendliness, especially to persons with disability.

2. Supervising all Polling Station agents and ensuring only accredited persons are at the Polling Station.

3. Thorough counting and announcement of results at the Polling Station.
