The Omega Fire Ministry’s Apostle Johnson Suleman has commented on the passing of well-known gospel performer Sammie Okposo.
The musician who made headlines in January of this year over allegations of infidelity slumped and passed away on Friday morning at the age of 51, according to a previous report from DAILY POST.
In January 2022, a Texas-based American woman named African Doll accused Sammie Okposo of sexually assaulting and abandoning her.
According to reports, the singer had not yet fully recovered from the scandal, which may have had an impact on his health before his passing on Friday.
After hearing the tragic news of Sammie’s passing, Apostle Suleman used his Twitter account to remember some previous conversations with the singer. He claimed that during those conversations, the two of them sobbed over the phone as they discussed how some pastors treated the singer following the infidelity saga.
He claimed that some of the mourners who are currently posting pictures of the singer did not get in touch with Sammie during the trying times.
Now they post his pictures, he wrote. but in spite of his difficulties, he never reached out. We both sobbed as he described what pastors had done to him.
The church has lost its love. A greater number of “lawyers” than “intercessors” are prepared to restore. Brother, may you rest in peace. You triumphed”!
