President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, according to Beatrice Annan, the spokesperson for the John Mahama campaign team, has no noteworthy legacy.
President Akufo-Addo warned that electing former President John Dramani Mahama might potentially undermine the progress gained during his term and change the course of the country during a small gathering in Doboro.
Mr. Mahama was very explicit in his counterargument that he did not want to carry on Akufo-Addo’s legacy of corruption, bad leadership, and haughtiness.
The NDC candidate declared in a post on X that “Of course, I will not protect your ‘legacy’ of corruption, misgovernance, arrogance, ineptitude, bankrupt economy, increased unemployment, and pushing more of our people into the poverty bracket.”
“This president’s legacy is zero…We are dealing with an administration that, as recently as March of last year, had the President himself acknowledge in parliament that things in our nation had gotten worse over the past forty years. She said, “These are not the words of the NDC.”
